HoloMoves gets people moving through play using holograms and augmented reality (AR) glasses. The AR glasses project the holograms around the person into the real world, but are visible only to the glasses wearer. The HoloMoves team developed special 3D animations that require patients to move in order to play the game or perform a task. This can be done lying down, sitting or standing. Because by getting patients to exercise more, they recover faster, spend less time in the hospital and are at less risk of complications.
