Mixed Reality in the Hematology Department – evaluation of 2 hospitals

Exercise during hospitalization is important for patients. Adequate exercise can prevent unnecessary loss of fitness, complications and delayed recovery. However, exercise in the hospital is often not attractive, hallways are boring and there is little to experience. Therefore, it is important to create opportunities that motivate patients. Games make exercise both fun and motivating. Offering games that encourage movement through Mixed Reality (MR) adds to the experience. This article evaluates the use of MR exercise games in the Hematology Department of two hospitals.
